Creating Digital Slide Shows
Now that Kodak has stopped manufacturing slide projectors, many faculty have started making the transition from traditional slides to digital images. What is the best way to present those images to students in the classroom? How do we also make those same images available to students for use outside of class? Participants in this workshop will learn how to convert their slide collections to a digital format using Adobe Photoshop Elements. This will include learning editing techniques to improve the quality of their images. Then, they will use those digital images to create slide shows in PowerPoint, the ArtStor Offline Image Viewer and Photoshop, examining the advantages and disadvantages of each.
