Preventing Emergency Situations
If you have any doubts as to whether or not you know how to use the computers or projection equipment in the classroom, please contact Audio-Visual Services (x3414) or someone in the Educational Technology Group.
Should a problem occur during classroom presentation please use the following guidelines:
1. A trouble shooting checksheet is provided in each technology equipped classroom. Follow the listed procedures.
2. If you cannot resolve the problem call the Emergency Support Line (x3095). Phones are available in all Computer Labs and on most floors on classroom buildings. The Help Desk person will attempt to help you over phone or dispatch someone to come and assist you.
3. In the case of a general network or power failure you should contact the Help Desk and the appropriate department will be contacted.
