| The
Visual Arts Department Slide Library contains nearly 100,000 slides
with images of architecture, painting, sculpture, photography,
and minor arts. Developed as a teaching resource, the collection
reflects the topics of courses offered in the Visual Arts
Department. Although primarily used as a teaching tool for
art history and studio classes, slides may be borrowed by
faculty from other departments. We also have a borrowing
policy for students in upper-level courses and/or seminars. |

use in classroom lectures at Holy Cross only. They may be
taken from the library for the duration of the lecture in
which they will be used. Slides may be selected and held
on reserve in the Slide Library up to one week in advance
of a lecture. Since most of the slides in the collection
are protected by copyright law, duplication of slides is
not permitted.
