Performance Area: 
Minimum playing area is 30 feet wide by 25 feet deep.  3 1/2 foot wings (black theatrical legs) are hung both stage right and stage left leaving three divided entrances each side.  An additional 7 to 12 feet is required off stage on each side to accommodate entrances and props.  In addition, 20 feet of clear space is required upstage of playing area to accommodate a rear screen projector. 

Floor should be covered with black vinyl (marley) dance floor. 

Space is also needed either on stage or in an orchestra pit for a medium sized orchestra including grand piano and extensive percussion.  Approximately 18' X 12'. 

Rigging/Flying: 
Two lines with snap hooks must be hung one stage right and one stage left in front of the first wing to fly mannequins.  Hardware and mannequins will be provided by Holy Cross. 

A two foot wide banner that unrolls needs to be hung in front of the down stage right wing 15'6'' off the ground.  Also a trip line to release the banner must be operable from stage right.  The banner and trip assemble will be provided by Holy Cross. 

Two 1' wide by 20' long flower petal bags (snow bags) are hung one down stage and one mid stage.  The downstage portion must remain stationary while the upstage portion must be raised and lowered by stage hands.  These bags and rigging will be provided by Holy Cross. 

A 3' high by 4' wide pipe frame is suspended 43'' off the ground in the third wing approximately 8' left of center.  This frame is suspended on swivel, and must be attatched to a secure stationary point so an actor can swing safely from it. 

Special Effects: 
A Rosco 1600 fog machine and a Hazemaster fogger will be used during the performance. 

Projections: 
A 14' high by 18' wide screen is located at the upstage edge of the performance area.  The screen weighing approximately 400 pounds must either be supported from the top (preffered approach), and be supported from the sides with stage braces.  Black theatrical masking must also be hung above and on either side of the screen.  The screen will be supplied by Holy Cross. 
A 3' by 12'3'' high scaffold must be set up 20 feet behind the projection screen to accommodate the projection equipment. 
The following equipment will be mounted on the scaffold: 
     4 kodak ektagraphic slide projectors with 2'' wide angle lenses 
     2 Arion pro-dissolve dissolve unit 
     1 Arion Hawk presentation controller 
     1 sharp lcd rear screen video projector 
     1 jvc vcr 
     3 shadow lights for shadow play effect 

There is also a 2' by 12' screen hung in front of the down stage teaser for the projection of subtitles.  There is an additional ektagraphic projector in the house at an appropriate point to project on this screen. 

Communications: 
This production requires at least 8 communication stations (clear-com is preferred): 
     1 for light board 
     1 for stage manager 
     1 for slide projector 
     1 for video projector 
     1 stage right 
     1 stage left 
     1 for subtitles projector 
     1 for sound board 

Lighting: 
The lighting requires approximately 90 - 2.4k dimmers and a patchable light board with at least 200 memory cues. 

The stage is divided into at least 10 acting areas (4 downstage, 3 mid stage, and 3 upstage) with two colors of direct front light (20 ellipsoidal spotlights at no less than 50 degree vertical angle) and two colors of down light (20 6'' fresnels directly above) for each area. 

There are four sets of side light on each side of the stage, one downstage of the last wing, and one in each wing.  Each side boom has 6 6X9 spotlights, 2 at 8' above the stage, 2 at 6', and 2 at 4'.  Each pair is circuited separately. 

There are several specials required for this production: 
     8 6X9 with a breakup gobo hung above the stage 
     5 6X9 with a sharp radial pattern hung above the stage 
     2 6X9 hung up stage center with a leaf breakup pattern 
     3 6X9 hung over the stage with a spiral pattern 
     4 par 64 in front of the stage for a blue wash 
     2 6X9 downstage to light a silk river 
     1 6X9 exactly center aimed straight down 
     1 6X16 approximately 15' downstage of the apron focused on center 
     1 6X16 approximately 15' downstage of the apron focused on stage right 
     1 6X16 approximately 15' downstage of the apron focused on stage left 
     8 revolving par lights spaced evenly over the stage
