Registrar
APPROVAL
FOR COURSES TAKEN ABROAD
Students
studying abroad must fill out an online Course Approval Form for every course they take abroad. Give as much information about the course as possible (i.e. syllabus, readings, assignments, and assessments). The registrar will notify you by e-mail if any course you requested will not fulfill the desired requirement.
Finally,
we strongly recommend you review your advising transcript
before you go abroad to be certain you know what requirements
are still incomplete in your record. Discuss the courses you plan to take abroad with your academic advisor. If you need a course to fulfill a major (or minor or concentration) requirement, discuss the course in advance with the Chair of that major, minor or the Head of the concentration. If possible, secure written approval from the appropriate Chair or Head.
