Students
applying to programs in non-English speaking countries normally
must have successfully completed a minimum of two years of college-level
instruction in the language of their host country by the end
of their sophomore year. Spanish usually requires a fifth semester. Occasionally, students are accepted
on condition that a summer language program is successfully
completed. These courses cannot be used to make up any college
deficiencies.
