Academic
credit is earned only upon successful completion of the
entire study abroad program. Students who withdraw risk
losing ALL credit and forfeiting ALL tuition and fees.

All
courses taken overseas must be approved prior to enrollment.
Detailed Course Approval Forms for all courses must be sent to the
Registrars Office online.

Students
are expected to fulfill the same requirements expected of
resident students at Holy Cross and/or in the country of
their program.

If
you are attending a Holy Cross program, tuition and fees
will be billed by Holy Cross and are to be paid to Holy
Cross.

Students
who expect a Perkins, Stafford or Pell must contact the
Bursars Office and Financial Aid Office before leaving
Holy Cross. If you fail to do this, you may forfeit all
aid.

Courses
taken overseas may not be duplicates of courses already
taken at Holy Cross.

You
cannot make up a course deficiency while abroad.

All
grades earned are entered on your Holy Cross transcript
but are NOT included in your GPA. The Independent Study
Project [where applicable] does not become part of your
32 courses to graduate from Holy Cross.

If
problems arise - notify the designated overseas official
before contacting the Study Abroad Office.

You
are responsible for authorizing the release of your transcript
upon completion of your program.

Please
be sure to inform each and every department--from which
you may desire information from while you are away--that
you are studying abroad and give them your overseas address so
that they may send you any materials you require (i.e, Special
Studies re Internship Program, College Honors Program, Career
Counseling Center). Check with these departments to see
if you should apply for things BEFORE your departure.

You
must arrive on the date specified by your program.
- You may not reschedule your exams abroad in order to leave early.
- You must obtain Health Clearance by submitting Health Clearance Forms A, B and C and by obtaining health insurance valid abroad.
