Academic year applicants and students applying to specialized semester programs must, by the completion of their third semester, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (higher for Trinity College in Ireland and for Oxford and St. Andrews Universities in the UK). All applicants submit two letters of recommendation and are interviewed by faculty members in their majors. Students must also be in good disciplinary standing.
Holy Cross encourages students to study abroad and, if you meet the requirements, chances are very good that you will be accepted into a program abroad. Please see individual program descriptions for specific information.
For Holy Cross Summer Study Abroad, there is no minimum GPA requirement. Any freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic and disciplinary standing is eligible to participate. In most cases, there is no foreign-language prerequisite.
