The
main objectives of the Study Abroad Program are a) to provide
genuine international academic opportunities for students,
and b) to place students in situations where they will have
the most academic success and personal growth. The College encourages students to study abroad and if you meet the general requirements, chances are that you will be placed in a study abroad location. That being said, students are not always able to
apply, nor are they always accepted, to their first destination
choice. Size constraints, language ability and several other
factors determine placement.
Acceptance by the Holy Cross Study Abroad Program
means the applicant has permission to apply to a program officially
recognized by the College. Acceptance by the Study Abroad
Program does not guarantee acceptance by the overseas program,
especially when applying to the more competitive programs, but our acceptance rate is high.
