S
ingapore, my home land,
It may be small,
Natural resources it has not, but
Green as a beautiful garden city, and
At times of trouble, we fear not.
People united, standing strong.
Oh Singapore, my beloved home,
Ready for all challenges,
Ever more we shall stand.

Choo, 9 years old, Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary, Singapore

High and low
Running all about
Isn't it fun

To give us presents
Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Such a great time, isn't it?

Use your arms and legs to balance

Ascending up and down
Never felt anything like this
The day past by
Arriving light came
Sleepiness goes
Y o why, I wish I could fly.

Small nation which set
In the Straits of Johor and the Strait of Malaca.
Never give up no matter what,
Going forward at all times.
Always think before act.
Poor long time ago and now one of the riches of them all.
Our Singapore, the best,
React fast for any changes. For-
Ever, Singapore will be my best homeland.

Ben, Qiaonan Primary School, Singapore

airies in
Another realm that
Never exists in
The real world, only in fairytales…How I wish to see
A fairy, to live and to play with it, to taste the
Sweets and food that they eat. How I
Yearn to see them cheer up the sick and the old, and make our lifes be full of fun, laughter and magic.

Margherita, Age 12, Singapore, Qiaonan Primary School

Australian entertainers
Usually try to impress
Some situations don’t always go so well
Tragedies happen a lot but entertainers are usually
Radiant with expression, which always gets the
Audience’s attention with a lot of
Laughter and fun they go home
In peace and remember that joyful night
And
Never forget it

English shows
Now a day they are way more entertaining
Then they used to be
Everyone loves to see singers, dancers
Rove live, and especially movies like
Titanic and Romeo and Juliet, and many more
Almost always gets the audiences attention to
Inspire them to come back for more
Nothing could
Ever stop a
Radiant, inspirational entertainer, for the
Show must go on!

Celine and Nick, Australia

Frangipanis, they are beautiful,
Really loved by me,
And the scent I've smelt it's really nice,
Neat colours that always do entice,
Great flowers as you can see,
In my opinion superior to a sweet pea.
Perfect in every way, well thats what I say.
A very attractive flower in its shape and size,
Never the kind you could despise
It's not for everyone and that's fine.
Still I think they're absolutely divine.

M
ovment in the jungle,
Outside swinging on vines and trees,
Nibbling on a banana while having a sleep,
Keeping its balance on the tree,
Eating fresh fruit and bananas,
Yelling and screaming all day long.
