Craft Center. Karen Furey Liebert, M.D., notes that she practices gynecology in Florida. Mary Agnes “Maggie” Wilderotter writes that she has been elected to the board of directors of Yahoo! Cuenin, USA, notes that he was selected to assume command of the U.S. Army Fort Jackson Dental Activity, effective this past July; he had relinquished his post at the Europe Regional Dental Command in June. Jerry A. Formisano Jr. writes that he is now retired and living with his family in Kailua, on the island of Oahu, in Hawaii; Formisano adds that he is the owner of GKO Environmental Health Services, LLC. Toya Alek Graham notes that, last February, she accepted the position of staff attorney for the Department of Children and Families in Bridgeport, Conn. Charles F. “Chuck” Mullen Jr. writes that he has opened Muldoon’s - The Patio, in Houston. Citizens Bank in Providence, R.I., announced in June the appointment of Preston J. O’Toole Jr. to the position of vice president and audit supervisor in its audit department. Nancy Lusignan Schultz notes that she has been elected chairperson of the English department at Salem (Mass.) State College.

Kathleen “Kathy” (O’Connor) Ekdahl notes that she is the owner of Personal Best Personal Training in Hudson, Mass., and a staff trainer at the International Golf Club in Bolton, Mass. Debra L. “Debbie” Fickett-Wilbar writes that she has relocated to Durham, N.H., and is now working as an actuary for the Liberty Life Assurance Company. Christopher L. Irving notes that he has been promoted to assistant vice president of consumer, government and legal affairs for Publishers Clearing House in Port Washington, N.Y. Katharine “Kathy” Buckley McNamara writes that, last summer, she assumed the position of executive director of the Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School in Orleans, Mass. Currently serving 216 sixth-to-eighth graders, with a strong waiting list, the school is in its 13th year of operation and “one of the original public charter schools in Massachusetts,” she explains—and adds that it employs “a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on community resources to engage students in the learning process.” McNamara’s responsibilities include leading the effort to find—and raise funds for—a new, larger location for the school. She and her family moved to Brewster, Mass., in July. John H. Sokol Jr. notes that he has joined the law firm Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP as a partner in its Concord, N.H., office.

Gregory G. Maher writes that he has been elected senior vice president of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. Michael L. Rogers and his wife, Christine ’84, announce the arrival of Daniel Gabriel Rogers from Guatemala; Daniel was born in Guatemala City on Sept. 19, 2005.

The Kimball Union Academy, Meriden, N.H., announced in September the establishment of the Mudiri-Lidonde Nativity Scholarship Fund—endowed by Thomas A. Maher and his wife, Nancy—“to assist graduates from The Nativity School in Worcester, Mass., in pursuing secondary education at Kimball Union Academy.” A real estate investor, Maher is a member of the board of the academy as well as a founding director and current board president of the Esperanza Academy, a Nativity-model middle school for girls in Lawrence, Mass.; he also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Worcester Tornadoes baseball team. According to the press release, Maher is assisting Alice Mudiri and Abdi Lidonde in the establishment of the Beverly School of Kenya—scheduled to open next July. Christine Kirwan Rogers and her husband, Mike ’83, announce the arrival of Daniel Gabriel Rogers from Guatemala; Daniel was born in Guatemala City on Sept. 19, 2005. Rosanna Villani notes that she is the director of experimental medicine for a contract research laboratory that helps companies develop novel medical devices and drugs for clinical applications.
