Kenna has been appointed district deputy, Massachusetts State Council, of the Knights of Columbus. Patricia M. “Tricia” Gallivan McNamara, who is in her sixth year teaching third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students at an elementary school in Needham, Mass., is the head basketball coach at Mt. Alvernia High School in Newton, Mass., and the head volleyball coach at Norwood (Mass.) High School. Last fall, McNamara was inducted into the Dedham (Mass.) Hall of Fame in honor of her high school sports achievements. Primary Care Affiliates, a physician group practice associated with Brockton (Mass.) Hospital, recently announced that Paul J. Pettinato, M.D., has joined the practice group in its Bridgewater (Mass.) office. Lt. Matthew R. Pothier, USN, who is now stationed at NAS Oceana in Virginia (Va.) Beach, is serving as a CAG paddles – in charge of landing all aircraft on a carrier – for CVW-8, prior to embarking on sea duty aboard the USS Roosevelt. Pothier also continues to fly the F/A-18 Hornet. Jonathan N. Santelli, who attended St. John’s University School of Law, is a corporate lawyer for Merrill Lynch, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Jean Donnelly Schnorr and her husband, Peter, announce the birth of their daughter, Claire Ann, on Aug. 9. Amy Donahue Schwartz and her husband, Peter ’92, announce the birth of their daughter, Anna Mary, on Oct. 1.

Cornish, who works for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiques in Waltham, Mass., was invited to serve on a panel discussion during the Nov. 20 meeting of the Royall House Association in Malden, Mass. A member of the association’s board of directors, Cornish is one of three preservationists involved in the ongoing restoration of the exterior of the mansion and the slave quarters. Matthew T. The article, “Of Many Things,” which appeared in the Sept. 30 issue of America, included a reference to Nicole P. Crifo and her work for criminal justice at the Intercommunity Center for Justice and Peace in New York City. Megan Boland Filipowicz is currently teaching high school English at St. Teresa’s Academy in Kansas City, Mo. Neil E. Hopkins is a third-year student in the master of fine arts program of the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) at Geary Theater, San Francisco, Calif. 1st Lt. Griffith M. Marshall, USMC, recently completed Dynamic Response ’02, while assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unity, based in Camp Lejeune, N.C. Frances C. “Kitty” O’Hare is taking a year off from medical school at the University of Pennsylvania to train in clinical patient research; the Doris Duke Charitable Research Foundation has provided a fellowship to support her research in cardiovascular medicine.

Giambone is assistant program manager at Community Housing of North County, Escondido, Calif.; Kathleen A. Quirk is a site coordinator at Sports 4 Kids, Oakland, Calif.; Edward J. Reardon is a physical education teacher/athletic director, at Dolores Mission School, Los Angeles, Calif.; Matthew E. Reuter is a life skills specialist/refugee resettlement, for Catholic Social Services in Phoenix, Ariz. Angela T. Mourino is currently serving as an Americorps member in client services at the Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Jacksonville, Fla. The Oct. 5 edition of Old Colony Memorial included a profile of Stephanie L. Skenyon and her work as an intern at the living history museum, Plimouth Plantation, in Plymouth, Mass. In addition to providing curatorial department support and working in the Public Relations Office, her responsibilities include leading tours of the Mayflower II.
