On Oct. 19, the College hosted “An Evening of Kandyan
Dance” by the renowned Sri Lankan troupe, the Surasena
Dance and Drum Ensemble. The event, which took place in Brooks
Concert Hall, featured Peter Surasena, a grandmaster of traditional
Kandyan dance. Holy Cross has recently joined the Intercollegiate
Sri Lanka Education (ISLE) consortium, offering students the
opportunity to study abroad in Sri Lanka.
