In November, VH1 announced that J. Matthew Hanna has been promoted to director
of music news. Hanna, who joined VH1 in 1997 as assignment editor, is responsible
for continuing to develop the VH1 News brand; in this capacity he oversees VH1
Music News programming, including daily news segments, the new weekly VH1 Music
News
segment on "Entertainment Tonight" and hourlong specials with TV Guide and Money
Magazine. He is also in charge of coverage for special events such as the
Grammy Awards and the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. |
