Ford has been promoted to member status; he works in the litigation department of the firm’s Boston office. Thomas K. Gaudrault and his wife, Amy ’95, announce the birth of their daughter, Lila Elizabeth, on Oct. 11. Carrie (Genova) Hanlon continues her law practice as an intellectual property litigation attorney at Wiggin & Dana in Stamford, Conn. Matthew S. “Sean” Loftus and his wife, Kate ’92, announce the birth of their son, Ronan Timothy, on July 19, 2002. James J. “Jim” Nolan has recently been promoted to vice president of operations for Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. Mary C. Walsh Raab and her husband, Thomas ’89, announce the birth of their son, Timothy James, on Nov. 2. The April 14 edition of the weekly, PR Week, included a Q&A with Raymond J. Ruddy in its “A Day in the Life” column. Ruddy is the director of investor relations at Concord Communications in Marlboro, Mass.

, who received her master of science degree in industrial/organizational psychology in December from the Florida Institute of Technology, has been working for seven years as a human resources manager at Intersil Corp. in Melbourne, Fla. Katherine L. “Kate” Graney and her husband, Sean ’91, announce the birth of their son, Ronan Timothy, on July 19, 2002. Graney is an assistant professor of government at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., specializing in Russian and Eastern European politics. Lori (Mulqueen) Hamlin and her husband, Brad, announce the birth of their daughter, Molly Ellen, on Jan. 30. Karen (Bradley) and Steven J. Metallo announce the birth of their son, Tyler Thomas, on Sept. 6. Karen works for MedStar Health, Washington, D.C., in its information systems department – primarily supporting Georgetown University Hospital. Steve is a member of the faculty of Georgetown University, where he teaches biochemistry; he has also started his own lab. In November, Jeffrey P. Nadeau took a leave of absence from his position as a marketing manager with IBM to serve with the Marine Corps. He is currently stationed at Camp As Saliyah, Qatar, with the Intelligence Center for CENTCOM, covering regime issues on Iraq. The April 17 edition of The Boston Globe included a story about Nadeau, his family and military service, in its “Home Front Snapshots” section. Matthew J. Winchester and his wife, Marette, announce the birth of their daughter, Alexandra Clare, on May 22.

Colleen Deters Gilroy and her husband, John, announce the birth of their son, Hugh Thomas, on Nov. 20. Gilroy works part time as a physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting. Elissa L. Gotha, who works for an architectural firm in Concord, Mass., is pursuing her master’s degree in interior architecture evenings at the N.E. School of Art and Design at Suffolk University in Boston. Carrie (Ramenofsky) Heilman has accepted a position as an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Virginia. Lisa (O’Neill) and Matthew A. Martel announce the birth of their son, Peter, on March 17. Kimberly “Kim” (Brimus) Mather and her husband, Rob, announce the birth of their son, Andrew, on Jan. 23. Mather works as a paralegal for KeyCorp in Cleveland, Ohio. Andrea (Shea) McGinn and her husband, Jay, announce the birth of their son, Andrew James, on Nov. 11. McGinn, who is a registered nurse, works at Butler Hospital in Providence, R.I. Andrew G. Morean works as a senior manager at Wells Fargo Financial in Ohio. Michael E. “Ted” Murphy and his wife, Liz, announce the birth of their daughter, Grace Marie, on Nov. 24. John P. Nowak and his wife, Julie, announce the birth of their son, Thomas, on April 3. Nowak has worked for the past three years as an enforcement attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York City. Paul J. “P.J.” Pettinato, M.D., and his wife, Andrea, announce the birth of their son, Mark Vincent, on March 26. Alan P. Picarillo, M.D., is a neonatology fellow at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester. Maura (Kelly) Fredey and her husband, Gene ’93, announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Maryalma, on April 15. Fredey does freelance communications and consulting, primarily in the health-care field. Kristin (Furey) Graffam and her husband, Ward, announce the birth of their daughter, Isabelle Stephanie, on April 30. Tracie Campbell Kosakowski is completing her first year of law school in Rhode Island and working for Fleet Bank as a trust officer. Kristen E. Haviland McEnaney and her husband, John ’95, announce the birth of their daughter, Anna Cate, on Dec. 30. Beth (Hughes) Mittelman and her husband, Joel, announce the birth of their son, Kyle James, on April 14. Poudrier, USMC, and his wife, Celia, announce the birth of their daughter, Francesca, in August 2002. Poudrier, who was promoted to the rank of major in March, is stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C., with the 6th Marine regiment. Michael A. Shustak and his wife, Kerrin, announce the birth of their son, Maxwell Michael, on April 28. David J. Stalter and his wife, Mary Beth, announce the birth of their daughter, Kayleigh Madison, on Aug. 27, 2002. Streeto has been working two years for the Connecticut division of criminal justice as a prosecutor handling the state’s appeals. Lynne E. Sullivan recently completed her M.B.A. in nonprofit management at the Heller Graduate School of Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. Kara (White) Underwood and her husband, Mark, announce the birth of their son, Maddox Ryan, on March 29. Underwood completed her M.B.A. at New York University’s Stern School of Business in May 2002.

Catherine (Fillmore) Douglas and her husband, Michael, announce the birth of their son, Ryan William, on March 11. From July 2002 until his return to California in May, Lt. Timothy E. Fahey, USN, had been stationed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as a pilot with VAW-113; the deployment was part of Operation Enduring Freedom over Afghanistan, Operation Southern Watch over Southern Iraq, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Christopher M. Fulco and his wife, Megan, announce the birth of their daughter, Maeve Catherine, on March 13. Fulco has recently accepted the position of assistant principal of Twin Valley High School in Elverson, Pa. Marianne (Jackson) Hardwick and her husband, Robert, announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Grace, on Feb. 6. Tara Jones and Scott T. Hughes announce the birth of their daughter, Brigid Ashlin, on March 22. Tara is an attorney for Windels Marx Lane and Mittendorf in Princeton, N.J. Scott is an attorney in the Princeton office of Hale & Dorr. In June, Gina M. Miele received her Ph.D. in romance languages and literatures from Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. Leane Guzzetta Poate and her husband, Tim, announce the birth of their son, Jamison Joseph, on March 18. The March 13 edition of the Haverhill (Mass.) Gazette included the article, “Hillie champion is running a different race nowadays,” about Nichole (Martin) Reimer – the profile recalls Reimer’s track career at Haverhill High School and Holy Cross and describers her current work as the director of leadership giving with the United Way of Merrimack Valley. Michael E. Rudmann is currently a lieutenant in the Navy Dental Corps, stationed in Annapolis, Md. Sheila Collins Wheeler is a speech language pathologist with Pediatric Development in Pittsfield, Mass.

Reardon has recently accepted a marine research position with the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown, Mass. Steven M. Solano is beginning his fourth-year at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. Colleen M. and Jessee W. Sullivan announce the birth of their son, Ryan, on March 12. Iram Valentin has accepted a position with the law firm of DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Wisler in Bergen County, N.J.; in addition to insurance defense litigation, he is specializing in municipal law and professional liability. The “Fleet Hometown News Center” announced in April that Ens. Patrick C. Drain, USN, is serving in the Arabian Gulf while assigned to the dock landing ship USS Comstock, homeported in San Diego, Calif. Elizabeth S. Keyes is currently working as a legislative aide in the Connecticut State Senate. This summer, after completing her first year at the University of Chicago Law School, Kathleen M. Pessolano accepted an externship for District Court Judge Rebecca A. Pallmeyer, of the Northern District of Illinois, and a research assistantship for University of Chicago law professor, Lisa Bernstein. Meghan M. Sinton, who completed her master of science degree in human development and family studies at Pennsylvania State University, is now pursuing her Ph.D. in the same program. Kimberly Ferguson White is a high school English teacher at the St. Rita School for the Deaf in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The “Home Front Snapshots” section of the April 10 edition of The Boston Globe included a story about Ens. Jennifer A. Courcy, USN, and her service aboard the USS Comstock. Patrick T. Maloney became the assistant director of athletic media relations at Holy Cross in July. The “Hometown Heroes” feature in the April 9 edition of the Lowell, Mass., daily, Sun, included a story about Ens. Timothy J. Mayotte, USN, and his service aboard the amphibious assault vessel Kearsarge in the Persian Gulf, as main forward propulsion officer in the war against Iraq. Brian P. Morin is the Strike Warfare Naval Officer aboard the USS Normandy, homeported in Norfolk, Va.; strike warfare deals with tomahawk missiles-maintenance and tactical issues.
