University Hotel Demolished
University Hotel,
a longtime fixture at the bottom of College Hill, was demolished
during the last week of January. Once a Howard Johnson’s
Hotel, the building provided student housing in the late
1970s. Holy Cross purchased the property in August for $
1.8 million dollars. A committee is currently being formed
to determine possible uses for the land.
