On Sept. 13, the College sponsored “Continuing to Care – Continuing
to Heal,” the second annual Relay For Disaster Relief
race, at the Hart Center track. Proceeds from the relay were
donated to the Holy Cross Sept. 11th Scholarship Fund, which
provides a Holy Cross education to financially needy surviving
children of alumni, firefighters, police and rescue workers
killed or permanently disabled due to terrorist attacks or
during the rescue activities related to those attacks. Last
year, more than 300 people took part in this event, which
raised over $9,000 for the scholarship fund.
