Daniel J. Cavoli teaches Latin at St. Edward High School, Lakewood, Ohio. The Boston-based company, Meredith & Grew Oncor, recently announced that Ronald K. Perry has been promoted to executive vice president and named to the firm’s executive committee. Perry is head of Meredith & Grew’s downtown brokerage team.

The Aug. 23 edition of Boston Business Journal included a profile of Peter G. George, who, since last fall, has been the president and chief executive officer of the Concord, Mass.-based network security equipment company, Crossbeam Systems Inc. Rev. George B. Scales has recently been appointed the pastor of St. Mary’s Parish, Seekonk, Mass.

Kathy Rohrer Bulkeley and her husband, Jon, announce the birth of their son, Samuel Jonathan, on Jan. 10. Michael G. Duggan has been awarded one of five 2002-03 Frances Hesselbein Community Innovation Fellowships through the Peter Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management. Duggan currently serves as the executive director of Domus, a nonprofit organization in Stamford, Conn., which operates a variety of programs for youth and families in need, including a state charter school, three residential programs and a summer camp. Thomas I. Griffith played the role of Agent Jim McGrath in this past summer’s blockbuster, xXx. Crush Media Solutions, a full-service digital media production company in Northboro, Mass., recently announced that M. Ellen McCurley has been appointed to the position of executive producer; her responsibilities include production of videos, streaming Web content, Webcasts, sales presentations, training programs and other multimedia projects.

Marie Faulkner Campbell and her husband, John, announce the birth of their daughter, Lauren Elizabeth, on March 17, 2001. Campbell is the regional sales manager for Moonlight Systems in Boston. Richard G. Canedo and his wife, Laura, announce the birth of their son, Robert Joseph “Robby,” on May 27. In the spring, Canedo was named “Outstanding Teacher of History” for the state of Rhode Island. John F.X. Dolan is now with the specialist firm, Van der Moolen in New York City; previously, he had been associated with Lyden, Dolan & Nick, which recently merged with Van der Moolen. Dolan is a governor of the New York Stock Exchange and chair of several of its educational committees. Mark C. Gillespie is currently the assistant special agent in charge of former President Clinton’s Secret Service Detail. Cecil D. Hudson and his wife, Lorre, announce the birth of their daughter, Trinity Rebecca, on Jan. 4. Hudson is currently vice president, national account sales, for CIGNA Healthcare in Hartford, Conn. After working almost 20 years in the transportation industry – most recently as a flight schedule developer with Delta Airlines – Stephen J. Kane has accepted a position as a seventh-grade mathematics teacher in Atlanta, Ga., effective this fall. Nancy A. Price, who recently completed her 16th year as an adoption caseworker in Maine, helps recruit families for older or special needs children. Kevin P. Sheahan, M.D., was recently elected vice president / president-elect of the Delaware chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Michael K. Stanton Jr. has joined the Westport, Conn., law firm of Halloran & Sage as counsel in the commercial litigation practice group; he focuses on litigation in the federal and state courts in Connecticut and New York. Frank G. Usseglio recently left his position as litigation department head at the Hartford, Conn., law firm of Updike, Kelly & Spellacy to start a litigation boutique law firm in Hartford, Kenny, O’Keefe & Usseglio; his partners are Richard J. Kenny ’72, Karen (Keefe) Clark ’87 and Timothy L. O’Keefe ’89.

Eugene J. “Gene” McMahon, M.D., who continues to work with Covenant Healthcare Inc. in Milwaukee, Wis., as the vice president for medical affairs, completed his M.B.A. in June at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Ill. Denise G. Nash and her husband, Doug, announce the adoption of their son, Andrey Alexander, on April 19; Andrey was born June 11, 2000 in Arkhanglesk, Russia. Thomas R. Puleo and his wife, Cathy ’86, announce the birth of their son, Brian Thomas, on May 30. Maureen McGrath Svoboda and her husband, Thomas, announce the birth of their daughter, “Maggie,” on June 28. Svoboda is in her 10th year of employment at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Plainsboro, N.J.

Aimee (McHale) Watson and her husband, Russell, announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Cole, on May 28. Gael Reilly and Kenneth M. Wetzel announce the arrival of their daughter, Louisa Reilly, from the Hunan Province in China. Ken is completing a yearlong Polish language training program at the Foreign Service Institute in preparation for a diplomatic assignment to the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow.

Susan M. Anti, M.D., and her husband, Kevin, announce the birth of their son, Riley Dennis, on Nov. 14, 2001. The Sept. 9 edition of Worcester Business Journal included an interview with Anthony A. Froio, titled “Baseball fans are finally the winners.” Froio is a partner in the Boston office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, a national law firm based in Minneapolis, Minn.; he is also a member of the firm’s executive board. Elizabeth “Liz” Stolmeier Glauber and her husband, Jeff, announce the birth of their son, Peter Andrew, on Aug. 2. Andrew R. Guillette and his wife, Lauren, announce the birth of their son, Andrew Charles, on June 3. Guillette is currently the chief operating officer and managing director for Cerulli Associates, a financial services research and consulting firm with offices in Boston and London. Robert K. Kretz and Taia Perry announce the birth of their daughter, Ariana Elizabeth, on Jan. 20. Kretz, who lives in Burbank, Calif., is a psychologist in private practice, specializing in children and adolescents; he received his Ph.D. from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. Joseph L. Lunny and his wife, Christina ’87, announce the birth of their son, Tyler Joseph, on Sept. 24, 2001. In September, the Chicago, Ill., law firm of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon announced the election of Martha D. Owens to the partnership; she focuses her practice on commercial litigation and product liability. Cathy (Mahanna) Puleo and her husband, Tom ’84, announce the birth of their son, Brian Thomas, on May 30.

Mary Ellen C. Lukaswitz, D.M.D., is employed part time as a general dentist for the Westchester County Health Department, Community Dental Services Division, in Yonkers, N.Y. Christina J. Lunny and her husband, Joe ’86, announce the birth of their son, Tyler Joseph, on Sept. 24, 2001. William T. O’Connell and his wife, Mary Alice, announce the birth of their daughter, Alice Claire, on May 1. O’Connell continues to work for a New York State Appeals Court judge in New York City. Lisa M. Rinaldi, M.D., and her husband, Joe, announce the birth of their son, Stephen James, on Dec. 21, 2001. Rinaldi continues to work part time in Waterbury, Conn., as an obstetrician/gynecologist. Laura Bogni Saich and her husband, Sean, announce the birth of their daughter, Mary Grace, on May 15. Jon A. Sullivan and his wife, Fiona, announce the birth of their son, Jon Thomas, on March 28. Nancy McKee Wiig and her husband, John, announce the birth of their son, Matthew Joseph, on March 17.

Hassett-Lindsey recently accepted a position at ESPN as a coordinating producer in the studio production unit. Thomas F. Jessop and his wife, Cathy ’89, announce the birth of their son, Alexander Ross, on Feb. 20. The Aug. 19 edition of the Hartford Business Journal included a profile of Dennis F. Kerrigan Jr., who is a partner in the Hartford, Conn., law firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae. C. Neal Keye is an assistant professor of religion and culture and women’s studies at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn. Francis X. “Skip” Leary and his wife, Andrea ’89, announce the birth of their son, John “Jack” Francis, on June 13, 2001. After 14 years abroad, Victor M. Luis and his family have relocated to the New York metropolitan area; Luis now works for Baccarat, the French manufacturer of fine crystal, as the chief executive officer for North America. Christine McCaffrey-Clark teaches chemistry at Concord (Mass.) Carlisle Regional High School. James J. Murphy and his wife, Michele, announce the birth of their son, Michael Patrick, on Feb. 20. Murphy recently left private practice to accept a position as senior counsel for labor and employment with Northrop Grumman Corp. in Arlington, Va. Maris Tutrone Sattely and her husband, James, announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Grace, on July 25. Kelly Enright Schmelter and her husband, Peter, announce the birth of their daughter, Emily Brooke, on March 19. Patricia B. Sheehan and her husband, Brian, announce the birth of their son, Daniel Patrick, on March 7. Maura O’Brien McDermott and her husband, Michael, announce the birth of their son, Fintan O’Brien, in March. Thomas P. McNulty, who received his degree from Boston University School of Law in May, has accepted a position with the Boston firm of Banner & Witcoff. Steven J. Meurer, who recently completed his Ph.D. in health services research at Saint Louis (Mo.) University, is the vice president of performance improvement at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa. Cheryl (Morien) Morency accepted a teaching position at the upper school at the King and Low Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, Conn., beginning in the fall. Richard T. Munn and his wife, Lena, announce the birth of their daughter, Stephanie Ann, in November 2001. Munn has been working with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Moscow, Russia, since 1995; he was admitted to the partnership in July 2001. Mishelle Noble-Blair and her husband, Jack, announce the birth of their daughter, Abigail Mishelle, on Nov. 5, 2001. Noble-Blair works for Micron Technology Inc.
