National
campaign most ambitious in College history
On Nov. 10, Holy Cross officially announced an ambitious
capital campaign intended to raise at least $175 million
dollars. At the College's annual
President's Council dinner, President Fr. Michael C. McFarland, S.J., and Jack
D. Rehm '54, national campaign chairman, informed the crowd that the pre-campaign,
or "quiet" phase of the campaign, had already recorded $90 million in advanced
gifts and pledges.
