Rev.
Dennis J. Yesalonia, S.J., '71 has been appointed general counsel of the College
by the president, Rev. Michael McFarland, S.J. A graduate of Notre Dame Law School
in Indiana, Fr. Yesalonia served as general counsel at Boston College prior to
coming to Holy Cross. He has also served as assistant to the president of the
University of Southern California.
In his new position, Fr. Yesalonia will coordinate the College's use of outside
legal services and will be available for consulting on matters of liability and
risk, contracts and policy. Fr. McFarland says, "I believe
that Dennis' extensive experience in higher education, dealing with many of the
same issues we face at Holy Cross, will be of great value to all
of us."
