Marcy McManus Vandale, '87

mcmanusvandal Marcy McManus Vandale is a 1987 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. After graduation, the mathematics major worked in the Legislature at the State House in Boston and then for ten years as a lobbyist for the health care industry. In 1999, with the birth of twins, she began her second career raising her four children, twins Nicole and Zachary (8 years old), Emily (6), and Erin (3).

Marcy has been active in Holy Cross alumni organizations for over 17 years, serving at the regional level with the Holy Cross Club of Greater Worcester and the General Alumni Association. She was President of the General Alumni Association 2004-2005 and has served 6 terms as vice president. She has chaired the GAA’s scholarship committee, senior reception, book prize and student alumni association committees. For several years she co-chaired the GAA communication committee which, among other things, is responsible for the feature articles on the GAA pages of the Holy Cross Magazine. In addition, she has served as a class agent and on her class reunion committees.

Marcy is a past president, vice president, treasurer and secretary of the Holy Cross Club of Greater Worcester, currently sits on the club’s board of directors.

She resides in Holden, Mass., with her husband, Richard, and their children.
