GE Corporate
Sangita Malhotra, Manager, Corporate Communications, is responsible for developing and managing global employee programs and internal marketing for all GE employees and the seven GE parent businesses. She also manages insideGE, GE’s global, internal website, including the development of content, special promotions and creative layout and design.
Sangita leads GE Corporate’s efforts to engage employees in major company initiatives such as ecomagination, GE’s sponsorship of the Olympics, “growth as a process” and Value of a GE Job. She also produces and manages Jeff Immelt, GE Chairman & CEO’s, global employee broadcasts and worked with the Union Relations Team to successfully communicate the results of the 2007 Labor Negotiations.
Prior to her current role, Sangita was an Employee Communications Manager at GE Capital Solutions. In that role, she created and managed internal communication programs and events for Commercial Finance and Capital Solutions. Some of her major responsibilities included the development and execution of the first Capital Solutions Leadership Meeting, an “In Their Shoes” campaign to recognize customer service and promote new products and services and CEO/senior leadership communication plans, including online chats and webcasts.
Sangita began her GE career while still in college, working at NBC’s Meet the Press and also on the corporate communications team. Sangita completed GE’s Communication Leadership Development Program (CLDP) focused on public relations, marketing and internal communications during her rotations at GE Commercial Finance. She also earned her Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Sangita earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish and a Concentration in Pre-Medicine at the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, MA. She currently lives in South Norwalk, CT.
