Moira Garvey, Principal Consultant for Jupiter Consulting Group, is an experienced Organizational Development Consultant, Facilitator and Leadership Coach with expertise in assessment, system theories and strategic thinking. Moira works with both individuals and teams to enhance performance by discovering their passions and strengths, thus expanding their capacity to meet organizational objectives. Leadership development is an area of particular interest for her, as is improving the relationships and skills of team members; she works to deepen their commitment to the organizational mission and heighten their awareness of the benefits of complementary expertise and style. Moira brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, from working with the Jesuit Volunteer Corp as a Volunteer and Director, to working with MCI Telecommunications as an internal Consultant, Manager and leading their Executive Development effort. As an external consultant she has worked with diverse Fortune 500 and non-profit organizations. She graduated from Holy Cross in 1978 and holds an MS in Organizational Behavior from California School of Professional Psychology.

On a more personal note, Moira enjoys giving back to the world through active involvement in her community. She loves wide open spaces, from the vistas of mountaintops she’s climbed to the expansive views of horizons stretching beyond the seashores. She enjoys fine wine with good friends and finds contentment in music, meditation, and the company of her husband and two daughters, who bring necessary levity to her life.
