Shelby Weitzel completed her dissertation on forgiveness and self-respect at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She spent the 2001-2002 academic year as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Utah. Shelby's current research interests include ethics, feminism and environmental issues.
