Douglas Weeks has spent much of his career conducting college ensembles at WPI and has a major interest in brass performance, particularly trombone. As a member of the New England Brass-Guild he has arranged and performed music for brass quintet both in the United States and on tour in Europe. As the founder and trombonist with the Worcester Trombone Consort he has had the opportunity to research and arrange music for this unique ensemble and premiere two works written expressly for the ensemble. DouglasWeeks received his Ed.D in Education from Boston University.
