The Foreign Language Assistants or FLAs, as they are affectionately known, play a critical role in the Italian program at Holy Cross. They not only teach the practicum sessions, where students have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned in class, but also participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, both within the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and in the wider campus community. Most importantly, perhaps, the Italian FLAs serve as "cultural ambassadors" whose very presence offers students an encounter with Italian culture.
The Italian FLAs for the 2008-2009 academic year are:
Daniele Forlino
Laurea, Università degli Studi di Firenze
Economia e Commercio (Economics)
Cassandra Scarpino
