My name is María José and I am 23 years old. I was born in Minorca, a very small though beautiful island located in the Mediterranean Sea, in the South East of Spain.

I have lived in Majorca for the last five years, where I did a degree in English studies. Last year, though, I was studying in Sheffield, UK. Living abroad was a fascinating experience, and was a very good way to practice my English, but, above all, it was a chance to get in touch with very interesting people from other countries and cultures, and becoming aware of the differences between them and trying to cope with that successfully, while learning from each other.

After that great experience last year, I am looking forward to moving to Worcester, since I am sure the time there will be just as great. I can't wait to meet other people and learn from their culture while sharing mine with them. Besides, this is going to be my first serious teaching experience, which might be a bit scary but very exciting at the same time.
