Ciao a tutti! My name is Claudio, I'm nearly 23 and I'll be your FLA this upcoming year! I live in Prato, one of the major cities of Tuscany, and I just graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures, with a major in English, from the University of Florence. I just love learning languages because I think they are the real medium for the knowledge of different and fascinating cultures! You can really love a country, but you’ll never be completely into it if you don't know anything about its language and that is why, in my opinion, learning a foreign language is one of the most amazing experiences you could ever decide to have!

Obviously, I enjoy travelling a lot and I do it whenever I have some free time! It’s great to see and discover new places, meet people around the world and keep in touch with them!

I’m also fond of every kind of art and music, as long as they express some sort of emotion and, as a real Italian, I can’t do without good food (slow food, always!).

During my stay at Holy Cross, I hope to help you understand more the wonderful Italian culture, which I guess has a lot of stereotypes for you (and some are so tremendously true)! I really can't wait for it and wish all you good-willing language learners to spend an amazing year with me and the other fantastic FLAs!
