Second Seal

Second Seal

The second seal of the College was used from 1865 until the 1920's. The cross is pictured in the sky. The hill signifies the topography of the College, while the train and ships indicate the commerce of the city of Worcester. The globe, books, and telescope represent the study of the liberal arts.
