Prof. O'Connor will continue teaching at the College as
an Assistant Professor in 2006 after serving as a Visiting
Assistant Professor in 2005. In 2006-2007, she will teach
ECOA 181 Financial Accounting and ECOA 292 Federal Income
Tax. Prof. O'Connor earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration
with a concentration in Management Science and minor in
Industrial Engineering in February 2006 from University
of Massachusetts, Amherst. Previously, she earned her
Master of Science in Taxation (M.S.T.) from Bentley College
and passed the exam to become a Certified Public Accountant
(C.P.A.). Before joining the Holy Cross faculty, Prof.
O'Connor taught at Assumption College, Worcester Polytechnic
Institute, and Worcester State College. She was employed
as a tax accountant by Ernst and Young; Deloitte, Haskins
and Sells and a number of other accounting firms.
