Graduate Studies in Economics and Finance

Many careers require a master's or doctoral degree in Economics. For a sample of such careers, consult the Job Openings for Economists publication, or consult the National Association of Business Economists (NABE). Holy Cross Economics students with an interest in pursuing Economics and related fields in graduate school should have strong economics and mathematics backgrounds. Holy Cross graduates and alumni with such backgrounds are encouraged to apply to top graduate programs in Economics, Finance, and other related fields. In the past, graduates have been accepted into programs in top-quality schools including MIT, University of Chicago, Stanford, Ohio State University, and UCLA. The Job Openings for Economists publication lists academic and non-academic job openings for economists with advanced degrees.
