John
D. O'Connell Prize for Accounting Excellence
The Prize was established in 1994 by alumni to recognize the contribution
of the College's senior accounting professor, John D. O'Connell '53.
The prize honors the junior accounting major who best represents the traditions
associated with Professor O'Connell: a record of academic excellence, service
to the community
and commitment to the profession of public accounting. We
acknowledge the generous support of
Rich Cummings '76, now at Vitale Caturano, for his role in creating the prize
and assisting our program.
