Representative
The representative
chosen by a department for a given case shall function solely
as a resource person. He or she shall remain available to
the CTP only so long as the members of the CTP have questions
to ask him or her. He or she shall not be present when the
CTP votes on the candidacy for which he or she is serving
as a resource person. If there are circumstances in which
the departmental representative is unable to answer questions
the CTP considers to be essential to its deliberations, the
CTP may forward its questions in writing to the senior and
tenured members of the department, and may request either
the answers to these questions or a revised written report.
