Summary
Guide
At the
time of consideration for tenure and/or promotion, the faculty
member is invited by the Dean to review his or her files and
to provide a statement summarizing his or her achievements
to date in all the statutory areas. Frequently the faculty
member takes the opportunity to reorganize the file, or even
to construct a separate Tenure File with the pertinent material
indexed and documented in multiple copies to facilitate review.
The Summary Guide on the following page is one approach to
this task.
SUMMARY
GUIDE
The CTP
has requested that candidates for tenure and/or promotion
summarize their careers at Holy Cross to facilitate the reading
of their Faculty Files. The form exhibited below is intended
as a guide for such a summary. Candidates for tenure must
submit a completed summary to the Dean's Office October 15,
the year of final tenure review. Candidates for promotion
must submit a completed summary to the Dean's Office by January
15, the year of promotion review. All such summaries shall
be placed in the candidate's Faculty Files.
