He received his B.A. in English and Philosophy from Fordham, his M.Div. and S.T.M. degrees from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley,  and his M.A. and Ph.D. in English from Rutgers. Coming to Holy Cross in 1996, Fr. Miracky has taught courses in 20th century British fiction, as well as Shakespeare and modern drama. The Associate Dean for Faculty Development is dedicated to facilitating excellent teaching, scholarship, and service by assisting faculty members in recognizing and realizing their own potential. He oversees the College’s orientation programs for new faculty and Foreign Language Assistants, its mentoring program, and its Mellon Postdoctoral Teaching Fellows program. The Associate Dean works with the Office of Grants and Corporate and Foundation Giving to identify possible funding sources and facilitate the application process for individuals’ scholarly projects.
