Summer
Passport is the three-week residential component of
the program held before Fall term classes
begin. During Summer Passport invited students have
the opportunity to:
Earn
one unit of academic credit for completing
one course designed and taught by Holy Cross faculty.
In summer 2008, the courses will include Pre-Calculus, Statistics, and English
Composition.
Participate
in skill-building workshops (time management, study
skills, effective reading strategies, exam preparation)
Form
a supportive community on campus through
residence life, Pathfinders,
faculty, staff, and administrators
Become
familiar with the community off campus through
field trips and tours
At the end of the summer program some students choose
to go home for a week before the fall semester begins,
participate in athletic pre-season practices, or participate
in our Odyssey
Program--a one-week program for ALANA and international
students.
