Passport
is an innovative, residential program designed to acclimate
first-year students to the challenging academic life of the
College of the Holy Cross. Each year Admissions
and Academic
Services invite selected in-coming students to participate
in Passport. Students who accept our invitation to join
Passport are expected to complete all three components
of the program.
The
program has three components:
Summer
Passport - held for three weeks in August
before classes begin
Fall
Passport - meet regularly with the Passport
Director and participate in academic workshops and the Mentor
Program for ALANA, International and Passport students.
January
Retreat - Two days before the start of the spring semester, students get away to reflect on the fall term and prepare
for the challenges of the spring term.
What happens after the January Retreat?
Passport students continue working with their Faculty
and Peer Mentors through the academic year. Academic
support and advising
services continue to be available, just as they
are for every Holy Cross student.
The Passport Program gratefully
acknowledges the Presidential
Task Force on Diversity and The Goizueta Foundation
for their suppport.
