Passport
students are encouraged to take full advantage of support
services in the fall term. These will include specially
designed academic and advising workshops to help students
succeed in fall courses.
In Fall 2008 the afternoon workshops included:
Survival Reading for the Busy Student
Making A Pro-Active Plan for Studying
Managing Stress for College Success
Passport students also participate in the Mentor
Program, a one-year program structured to integrate
the academic, social and cultural experiences of students
and to increase awareness of resources available at the
College. Each Passport student is assigned a Peer Mentor
and a Faculty Mentor and meet on a regular basis.
