In
September 2001, Holy Cross dedicated Carol and Park B. Smith
Hall, new home to the Center for Religion, Ethics and
Culture and other departments.
Located
at the geographic center of campus, Smith Hall completes
Fenwick and O'Kane Halls, the campus' original main buildings.
Among other benefits, Smith Hall unites under one roof
the Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture, the Religious
Studies and Philosophy
departments.

The
Center's primary public space is the two-story Rehm
Library, which provides space for hospitality,
Center-sponsored lectures and events, quiet space
for reading and reflection, and enhanced library
resources on religion and spirituality. The
shelves of Rehm Library house primary texts of an
array of religious traditions.
Across
from the Rehm Library, the Center houses its offices,
a conference room, and several visiting fellows'
offices.
