"The Moral Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."
A Student-led Teach-in and Debate
Seven Holy Cross students will present, debate, and
discuss a variety of aspects of Dr. King's legacy, including the option for non-violence, the leadership legacy in the
Black community, the role of women in the civil rights movement, the ways liberals and conservatives have tried to
claim the mantle of Dr. King's legacy, and the commercialization
of King's image and writings.
Please join us for what should be a very interesting and enlightening discussion. January
