Augustine and the Jews: A Christian Defense of Jews and Judaism
Paula Fredriksen, Aurelio Chair Emerita of the Appreciation of Scripture at Boston University, talks about her latest book, Augustine and the Jews, describing Christian and Jewish relations in antiquity, and sharing how she happened upon Augustine's argument in defense of Jews. Her talk, held November 16, 2011, was co-sponsored with the Worcester JCC and supported by the Kraft-Hiatt Fund for Jewish-Christian Understanding, the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts and the Jewish Book Council.
