Research Overview

Professor Van Doren has a strong and vibrant research program at Holy Cross
that includes over twenty-five refereed articles in scientific journals
(over sixty in career), numerous research presentations at professional
meetings, and funding to support the research from a variety of sources. Her research includes a number of active collaborations
with the Air Force Research Lab, Massachusetts State Crime Lab, Worcester
Department of Public Health, and the Naval Research Lab. She has received research awards and fellowships
that recognized her accomplishments and provided new opportunities for
her program to grow. She is dedicated
to involving undergraduate students in her research and has mentored
over 50 different students in academic year and summer research theses
and projects. Research in the Van
