Friday, October 16th: Seminar: Prof. Robert Hondal, University of Vermont School of Medicine.  All Concentration students should plan to attend.  Smith Labs 154, 3 pm.

Thursday, November 19: Seminar: Prof. Allan Jacobson, University of Massachusetts Medical School.  All Concentration students should plan to attend.  Rehm Library, 7:30 PM. 

Friday, January 22nd: Class of 2010: One-page research progress reports are due to biology department office

Thursday, January 27nd, 7 PM: Concentration information meeting for Sophomores, Smith Labs 154.  Current students should attend if interested in answering questions from prospective students.

Friday, February 19th: Applications due for admission to the concentration

Monday, April 12th: Advising for Fall 2010 begins. be sure to consider your concentration class requirements when signing up for classes!

Friday, April 23th: Academic Conference Biochemistry Session. Class of 2010 students are required to give present a research seminar. Class of 2011 students currently involved in research are strongly encouraged to give a seminar.

Friday, May 7th  Class of 2011: Research proposals for senior-year thesis projects are due

Friday, May 15th: Class of 2010: Final thesis including Thesis Acceptance Form signed by research advisor is due.
