Production Services

Both
A-V and the MRC have a variety of video production tools. Pictured
here is A-V's duplicating and format conversion station for both VHS
& S-VHS tapes. Along with normal video duplication*
we are able to convert from US standard (NTSC) to foreign formats
(PAL, SECAM) and vice versa. |

As
shown here, we also have the tools to digitize video into computer
usable formats (both Windows & Mac) for inclusion in multimedia
applications including the grabbing of individual frames from a video
source to create a still image. |

A-V has a small TV studio for video production along with portable
equipment. For editing we have basic editing linear equipment as well
as Applied Magic Screenplay and MEDIA 100 digital editing systems. |
A limited number
of camcorders are available for use in academic projects.
