FYP Co-Curricular Events: 2004-2005

The Tempest Revisited

The FYP sponsors about two dozen co-curricular events during the year. Each event relates to the theme of the program and is integrated into the FYP classes. Past co-curricular events have included: acclaimed documentary and feature films; traditional and non-traditional theater; chamber music concerts; student- faculty panel discussions and debates on issues such as censorship, individual rights, women's sports, race and gender, studying Marx after the fall of communism, and presidential elections; lectures by prominent writers, poets, artists, and performers; and field trips to Boston, Hartford, New York and Washington, D.C.

In addition to events sponsored by FYP, we will also include here other happenings related to our theme that may be of interest to FYP students and faculty.
