Referral Guide For Peer Educators & RAs
Resident Assistants (RAs) and Peer Educators (PEs) have always been important contributors in helping the Counseling Center staff to serve students. RAs and PEs refer many students each semester to individual personal and career counseling, testing, and group workshops and programs offered by the Center. Over the years, RAs and PEs have also been enormously helpful in assisting us to identify and respond to students in crisis.
This guide has been developed to help RAs and other Peer Educators understand how to recognize and refer students with personal problems to counseling; to familiarize them with programs and services designed specifically for RAs and PEs; and to acquaint them with programs and services available to the student body as a whole.
