Used Textbooks
In some situations you will have the opportuinity to choose between new and used books, and the decision is one of personal preference. Our bookstore employees work with the faculty to decide if a used book is appropriate for the course work. If you see a used book on the shelf, it means that the instructor has approved the sale of both new and used books for his/her course.
The benefit of purchasing a used book is saving money. Used books tend to sell quickly, so if you are interested in purchasing a used book you should act quickly. The biggest difference between new and used textbooks is the price. All used books cost 25% less than new books. The only other difference is the physical condition of the books. We generally find that the majority of used books we sell are in outstanding condition because we reject those books which we consider to be inferior.
