Cost and Payment
Over the past two years Holy Cross students have spent an average of approximately $500.00 per year ($250.00 per semester) on textbooks. This figure can fluctuate substantially based on a student’s major and the courses a particular student is enrolled in. Remember that if you have $300.00 worth of new textbooks in your hands those same books would cost $225.00 if all were purchased used. Different factors determine the amount of money you will spend each year on textbooks.
The bookstore accepts cash, checks (in the exact amount of purchase), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), travelers checks, Holy Cross gift certificates and Holy Cross Crusader Express. We do not accept credit card numbers without the actual card or Discover cards. There are no in-store accounts and we cannot bill for purchases. We strongly recommend that you open a Holy Cross Crusader Express Account. Parents put funds into the account using their credit card. Then, students can purchase books and supplies with their Crusader Express Card.
