Living Our Faith

Our Catholic and Jesuit identity is core to the mission of Holy Cross. One of the goals of our campaign is to enhance this dimension of the College experience.

One of the primary pieces of this effort is the construction of the new Joyce Contemplative Center, which will provide a home to all of our retreat programs and give students additional opportunities to focus on faith and discernment.

In addition, we will devote resources to the following:

  • Establishing ministers in residence, Jesuits and lay people who will be available in the residence halls, to make the process of discernment and reflection an ongoing aspect of our students’ lives
  • Creating new programs to promote leadership, service, and social justice — both across the globe and in our local community — as well as expanding many of our existing outreach programs
  • Continued support for global Catholicism in both scholarship and service
