Empowering Athletics, Health and Wellness

It’s a new era for Crusader athletics.

While our Division 1 athletics teams have long been a focal point of the campus and alumni community — evidenced by how proudly our students and alumni bleed purple — we are committed to extending their success and bringing our athletics reputation up to par with our academic reputation.

This means giving our student-athletes — who comprise a quarter of the student body — a world-class collegiate, competitive experience. We will also support new facilities and programming to address the health, wellness, and fitness needs of the entire campus community.

In tandem with these efforts, we will elevate our marketing efforts to make Crusader athletics a topic of conversation at the national level. When people talk college sports, we want them talking about Holy Cross. We want the Purple Pride that infuses our campus to extend out into the world at large.

Get ready. Here come the Crusaders.

The Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex

Our newly renovated athletic and recreational facilities will serve both the championship dreams and wellness goals of the entire Holy Cross student body. These plans are buoyed by a $32.5 million commitment from John Luth ’74, and Joanne Chouinard-Luth, D.M.D.
